Lectures, concerts, film screenings and other events are held here.

(ろ) Reference Room

Here visitors can peruse library materials and old documents in the collection of the Museum. The staff also accepts questions and offers consultation about Nagasaki studies.

(は) Nagasaki Prefecture Local Specialty Shop

The shop offers a selection of local delicacies, specialties, and rare goods. It is the perfect place to look for souvenirs found only in Nagasaki.

(に) Entrance Hall

The Museum’s main entrance welcomes all visitors. Museum concerts, exhibits, tea ceremonies and other events are also held here.

(ほ) Lecture Room

A space used for various kinds of meetings and lectures.
Area: 66.2 m², seats: 45.

(へ) Locker Room

The lockers are coin-operated, but the coin is returned after use. Hand luggage can be stored here. 37 small lockers and 6 large lockers are available.

(と) Museum Shop

The shop offers a wide variety of products, such as catalogues of past exhibitions, books on the history of Nagasaki and other rare publications, original goods inspired by the Museum collection, Japanese-style everyday items, and traditional Nagasaki crafts.

(ち) Meeting Rooms

Rooms used for various types of lectures and meetings. Depending on the size of the gathering, two or three rooms can be connected together. 3 rooms in total.
Area: 16.8 m², seats: 8 per room

(り) Parking

Indoor paid parking. Capacity: 62 regular cars, 5 large buses.
Total: 67 vehicles.
*Parking space is limited, therefore we encourage visitors to use public transportation whenever possible.
